Taxon description
Szelegiewicz 1968:
Szeroko rozmieszczony w całej Holarktyce.
Gatunek holocykliczny i jednodomny. Żyje na czubkach pędów i spodniej stronie liści brzóz — Betula verrucosa EHRH., Betula pubescens EHRH., Betula carpatica W. K. Nie tworzy zwartych kolonii. W cyklu rozwojowym brak bezskrzydłych dzieworódek.
