Taxon description
Gatunek znany głównie ze środkowej Europy, a z nielicznych stanowisk notowany z południowych części Szwecji i Finlandii, z Francji, Włoch, Siedmiogrodu i Półwyspu Bałkańskiego. W Polsce rzadko znajdowany, przy tym większość danych oparta na znaleziskach sprzed przeszło stu laty. Występuje na torfowiskach, miejscach bagnistych i wilgotnych, na pobrzeżach stawów i kałuż, w próchnicy i pod wilgotnymi mchami, zwłaszcza gatunków z rodzaju Sphagnum Ehrhardt.
