Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1978:
Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony od Wysp Brytyjskich i południowych prowincji Szwecji i Finlandii przez całą środkową Europę aż do Francji, północnych Włoch, Siedmiogrodu i Bułgarii; na ogół wszędzie sporadycznie i rzadko spotykany. W Polsce notowany z nielicznych rozproszonych stanowisk. Znajdowany pod rozkładającymi się szczątkami roślinnymi, w pryzmach kompostowych i stertach nawozu, niekiedy także w gniazdach mrówek Lasius brunneus (Latr.) i Lasius fuliginosus (Latr.).
