Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1992:

Gatunek zamieszkujący południowo-wschodnią, wschodnią i środkową część Europy. W Polsce znany z nielicznych stanowisk rozmieszczonych głównie w południowej części kraju. Występuje głównie na terenach stepowych, słonecznych wzgórzach i zaroślach oraz w widnych lasach. Jako rośliny żywicielskie podawane są janowiec ciernisty — Genista germanica L., j. skrzydlaty — G. sagittalis L., szczodrzeniec czerniejący — Cytisus nigricans L. i s. główkowaty — C. capitatus Scop. Rozwój larwalny nie jest znany.
