Taxon description
Gatunek o słabo poznanym rozmieszczeniu, wykazany dotychczas z nielicznych stanowisk w Fennoskandii, wschodniej Europie, na Półwyspie Bałkańskim i w Azji Mniejszej. W Polsce znany od niedawna tylko z dwu krain. Żyje pod odstającą, zmurszałą i wilgotną korą, zwłaszcza na pniach leżących i na pniakach drzew, zarówno iglastych jak i liściastych. Niekiedy znajdowany w ściółce, murszejącym drewnie i wśród mchów porastających stare drzewa.
