Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1991:
Gatunek obejmujący zasięgiem Europę, Afrykę Północną, Azję Mniejszą i Środkową; granica północna rozmieszczenia przebiega od południowej Szwecji przez kraje bałtyckie i południowy Ural po Ałtaj. Omawiany gatunek tworzy dwa podgatunki, z których G. (G.) interrupta circumdata (Duft.) występuje w krajach pontyjskich i Azji Środkowej, pozostałe zaś obszary rozsiedlenia zamieszkuje podgatunek nominotypowy. W Polsce, aczkolwiek nie znany jeszcze z niektórych krain, występuje zapewne w całym kraju. Zasiedla piaszczyste ugory i pobocza dróg, wydmy śródlądowe i wyrobiska. Jako rośliny żywicielskie podawano bylicę polną — Artemisia campestris L. i pieprzycę trawolistną — Lepidium graminifolium L.
