Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1991:
Gatunek palearktyczny, szeroko rozpowszechniony w Europie, wykazywany poza tym z Afryki Północnej, Syberii, Mongolii, Chin i Japonii. W Polsce, choć notowany tylko z nielicznych stanowisk w 14 krainach, występuje prawdopodobnie na całym obszarze. Zasiedla pobrzeża wód, gdzie żyje na krwawnicy pospolitej — Lythrum salicaria L.
