Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1981:
Gatunek rozmieszczony głównie w środkowej części Europy, na północ sięgający do południowych części Fennoskandii, a na południe do wschodniej Hiszpanii, północnych Włoch i Wyżyny Siedmiogrodzkiej. W Polsce znany z pojedynczych stanowisk; tylko na Śląsku liczniej poławiany. Zasiedla pobrzeża wód, zwłaszcza dużych rzek na obszarach pagórkowatych i w niższych położeniach górskich. Występuje licznie w miejscach piaszczystych.
