Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1990b:
Gatunek borealno-alpejski, zasiedlający głównie północne prowincje Fennoskandii oraz tereny górzyste w środkowej części Europy od Gór Dynarskich i Wschodnich Alp aż po Karpaty. W Polsce chrząszcz mało znany, stosunkowo niedawno odkryty na nielicznych stanowiskach w trzech krainach południowych, przy czym Góry Świętokrzyskie stanowią oderwany obszar występowania tego gatunku, najdalej na północ wysunięty w Europie Środkowej. Poławiany przeważnie na krzewach liściastych, jak czeremcha, jarzębina i leszczyna.
