Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1990b:
Gatunek obejmujący zasięgiem niemal całą Europę (prócz strefy roślinności śródziemnomorskiej i czarnomorskich stepów), na wschód docierający do zachodniej i środkowej Syberii. W Polsce, choć nie znany jeszcze z wielu krain, występuje prawdopodobnie na całym obszarze; dotychczas rzadko spotykany na terenach nizinnych, natomiast częściej na podgórzach. Poławiany wiosną i latem. Żyje na różnych gatunkach wierzb.
