Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1976:
Gatunek rozmieszczony od koła podbiegunowego przez całą Europę do północnej Afryki, na wschód sięgający przez Syberię aż do Mongolii. W Polsce gatunek pospolity, występujący zarówno na niżu jak i w górach. Żyje w drobnych zbiornikach wody stojącej oraz w wolno płynących strumieniach.
