Taxon description
Prószyński et Staręga 1971:
Podgatunek nominatywny wykazywany był z Europy środkowej i Półwyspu Bałkańskiego. W Tyrolu ma go zastępować drugi podgatunek, Harpactea lepida tirolensis Braun, 1964. Żyje w lasach górskich ‒ pod mchem na skalach i w ściółce.
