Taxon description
Szelegiewicz 1968:
Szeroko rozmieszczony w całej Holarktyce.
Gatunek holocykliczny i jednodomny. Żeruje na liściach komosy — Chenopodium album L., Chenopodium urbicum L., Chenopodium bonus-Henricus L. i łobody — Atriplex patulum L. i innych Atriplex L. sp. Powoduje podwijanie się brzegów blaszki liściowej, która grubieje i odbarwia się. Notowany jako wektor licznych chorób wirusowych.
