Taxon description
Gatunek szeroko rozmieszczony w prawie całej Palearktyce, w Europie od krajów śródziemnomorskich aż do około 64° szerokości geograficznej. W Polsce rzadko spotykany, wykazany z nielicznych stanowisk zarówno na nizinach, jak i w górach. Znajdowany w nawozie bydlęcym i pod silnie gnijącymi resztkami roślinnymi.
