Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 2000:
Gatunek rozsiedlony od wschodniej Francji, północnej Szwajcarii i Niemiec po Polskę, Czechy, Morawy i Słowację. Wszędzie notowany z nielicznych rozproszonych stanowisk. Z Polski wykazany stosunkowo niedawno z czterech krain południowych. Występuje w stawkach i zbiornikach zasilanych bieżącymi wodami górskimi i podgórskimi, w strumieniach oraz w zastoiskach wody koło źródeł. W Bieszczadach w zbiorniku stałym o powierzchni 3x1,5 m złowiono siedem osobników. Znajdowany również w detrytusie i pod napływkami.
