Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1976:

Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony w Europie od skrajnej północy do środkowej Francji, północnych Włoch, Jugosławii i Rumunii, notowany również z Syberii. Zamieszkuje tereny nizinne oraz okolice podgórskie i górskie, dochodząc do strefy górnoreglowej. Żyje głównie w różnych leśnych zbiornikach wodnych, jak sfagnowe torfianki, bagienka, kałuże, młaki i rowy z opadłymi liśćmi na dnie.
