Burakowski et al. 1976:

Halobiontyczny gatunek, znany z NRD, Polski, Austrii, południowej Rumunii, europejskiej części ZSRR, Zakaukazia, Kazachstanu, Iranu i środkowej Azji. Zasiedla słonawe jeziora, bajorka i mokradła. Niekiedy spotykany, jako postać dojrzała, w wodach słodkich.
