Taxon description
Szelegiewicz 1968:
Europa, Azja, Ameryka Północna, Meksyk, Afryka, Australia, Tasmania, Nowa Zelandia.
Gatunek holocykliczny i różnodomny. Migruje z porzeczek — Ribes rubrum L., Ribes nigrum L., Ribes alpinum L. i Ribes aureum Pursh, na młode pędy mleczów — Sonchus oleraceus L. i Sonchus arvensis L. Notowany jako wektor chorób wirusowych.
