Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1976:
Gatunek rozmieszczony w prawie całej Europie z wyjątkiem niektórych południowych części, notowany również z Zakaukazia i Syberii. Występuje w drobnych, zarośniętych zbiornikach wodnych, jak bajorka, rowy i małe stawki, ale w okresie suszy spotykany także w głębszych stawach, łachach rzecznych i starorzeczach.
