Taxon description
Gatunek o ograniczonym zasięgu do północno-wschodniej Europy i północnej Syberii, notowany również z Mongolii. W Polsce notowany tylko z czterech stanowisk w dwu krainach. Ogólnikowe dane z Prus Wschodnich (Seidlitz 1889, Ganglbauer 1895, Luze 1901b, Jakobson 1909, Kuhnt 1912) dotyczą, według Horiona (1935), okolic Królewca. Występuje głównie na torfowiskach pod płatami mchów, wrzosem zwyczajnym — Calluna vulgaris (L.) Salisb. i wrzoścem bagiennym — Erica tetralix L.
