Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1974:
Szeroko rozpowszechniony gatunek palearktyczny, występuje od północnej Afryki aż do środkowych części Fennoskandii i Wysp Brytyjskich, na wschód sięga do Syberii i Japonii. W Polsce dość rzadko i pojedynczo spotykany. Omyłkowo wykazana z Polski przez E. Csikiego (1932b) odmiana sexmaculata Patk.; wzmianka ta odnosi się do Ukraińskiej SRR (Bolechów). Żyje na dość suchych miejscach, pokrytych głównie roślinnością trawiastą i krzaczastą na glebach gliniastych, wapiennych i kamienistych.
