Taxon description
Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony głównie w środkowej Europie, ponadto notowany z Wysp Brytyjskich, Danii oraz nielicznych stanowisk w południowej części Fennoskandii. Z Polski znany zaledwie z kilku stanowisk. Występuje głównie na piaszczystych wydmach nadmorskich, gdzie znajdowany jest w sąsiedztwie grzybów podziemnych porastających korzenie traw, poza tym łowiony na powierzchni gleby oraz na trawach ale tylko na wysokości nie przekraczającej kilkunastu centymetrów. Notowany również z piaszczystych stanowisk śródlądowych. Z uwagi na wymagania ekologiczne występowanie jego w Górach Izerskich wymaga dokładnego zbadania.
