Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1976:
[KFP 721: Limnebius truncatulus] Gatunek rozmieszczony głównie w środkowej Europie i południowej części północnej Europy, notowany również z Syberii. Z Polski rzadko wykazywany. Pospolitszy na terenach nizinnych, gdzie poławiany głównie w bajorkach i kałużach, niekiedy również w strefie przybrzeżnej jezior lub pod napływkami po wylewie rzek.
Burakowski et al. 2000:
[KFP 5735: Limnebius parvulus] Gatunek mało znany. Nie wykazywany wśród chrząszczy środkowoeuropejskich (Lucht 1987). Stosunkowo niedawno wykazany z pojedynczych stanowisk w czterech krainach Polski na podstawie materiałów muzealnych znajdujących się w zagranicznych instytucjach. Biologia i wymagania ekologiczne nie znane.
