Gatunek występujący na Podolu, w Polsce i Rumunii oraz na Węgrzech i Słowacji. W Polsce chrząszcz mało znany, notowany ogólnikowo z Tatr, góry Turnicy koło Przemyśla oraz kilku stanowisk w Bieszczadach. Bionomia i rośliny żywicielskie nie są znane. Postacie dojrzałe poławiano od maja do końca sierpnia, na niskich roślinach zielnych, w piętrze regla dolnego i połonin Bieszczadów.
