Taxon description
Szelegiewicz 1968:
Europa, Zakaukazie, Bliski Wschód, Ameryka Północna, Nowa Zelandia, Tasmania.
Gatunek holocykliczny i jednodomny. Żyje na liściach i młodych pędach berberysu — Berberis vulgaris L., rzadziej mahoniu — Mahonia aquifolium Nutt.
