Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1979:
Szeroko rozpowszechniony gatunek kosmopolityczny w strefie tropikalnej i umiarkowanej. W Europie pospolity w południowej i środkowej części oraz w południowej Fennoskandii. W Polsce znany z nielicznych stanowisk, przy tym większość danych oparta jest na znaleziskach w ubiegłym stuleciu. Występuje głównie na terenach nizinnych i w niższych położeniach górskich oraz jako synantrop w pryzmach kompostowych w rejonach górskich i subalpejskich. Znajdowany przeważnie pod rozkładającymi się szczątkami roślinnymi na łąkach i polach oraz pobrzeżach lasów.
