Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1980:
Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony w południowej i środkowej Europie oraz w południowej części północnej Europy, notowany również z północnej Afryki, Syberii i Japonii. W Polsce występuje prawdopodobnie na całym obszarze, jednak brak jeszcze udokumentowanych danych z wielu krain. Występuje zarówno na niżu, jak i w górach, gdzie dociera do górnej granicy lasu. Poławiany w różnego rodzaju grzybach i hubach.
