Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1991:
Gatunek obejmujący zasięgiem wąski pas od Francji przez środkową część Europy po Syberię Zachodnią, na południe dociera do Alp i Dunaju. W Polsce chrząszcz, chociaż znany z tylko nielicznych stanowisk w sześciu krainach, występuje prawdopodobnie w całym kraju prócz wyższych partii górskich. Postacie dojrzałe poławiano na różnych gatunkach wierzb, topól, w Bieszczadach na olszy szarej — Alnus incana (L.) Mnch.
