Znany z Austrii, NRD, Szwajcarii, Węgier, Włoch, Łotwy, Litwy, środkowej i południowej Rosji, Kazachstanu, Ałtaju i zachodniej Syberii. Żyje na bylicy polnej (Artemisia campestris L.).
