Taxon description
Szelegiewicz 1968:
Europa: Anglia, Szwecja, Dania, Holandia, Niemcy, Polska, Francja, Włochy, Austria, Węgry. Halofil rozprzestrzeniony wzdłuż wybrzeży morskich i na słonawiskach śródlądowych.
Gatunek jednodomny i holocykliczny. Monofag na astrze solnym — Aster tripolium L. Żeruje na spodniej stronie liści i na łodydze.
