Szelegiewicz 1968:
Europa: Polska, Ukraina.
Gatunek jednodomny i holocykliczny. Żyje na ogonkach kwiatowych, rzadziej na liściach kocanki piaskowej — Helichrysum arenarium (L.) Moench, zawsze odwiedzany przez mrówki.
