Gatunek jednodomny i holocykliczny. Żyje na spodniej stronie liści bylicy polnej — Artemisia vulgaris L. i hodowanych chryzantem — Chrysanthemum indicum L. (hort.). Notowany jako wektor chorób wirusowych.
