Taxon description

Szelegiewicz 1968:

Europa: Anglia, Norwegia, Szwecja, Francja, Niemcy, Polska, północ europejskiej części ZSRR.
Gatunek jednodomny i holocykliczny. Monofag na pszeńcu zwyczajnym — Melampyrum pratense L, Börner (1952) wymienia także szereg innych roślin, co wymaga jednak jeszcze sprawdzenia.
