Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1985:

Gatunek pospolity w Europie Środkowej, notowany ponadto z górzystych obszarów w Belgii, Francji, Szwajcarii, z północnych części Włoch i Jugosławii oraz Siedmiogrodu. W Polsce wykazywany z nielicznych miejscowości tylko w ośmiu krainach, przy czym większość danych o rozmieszczeniu opiera się na znaleziskach z ubiegłego stulecia, niekiedy nawet sprzed przeszło stu lat, dlatego też wymagają one potwierdzenia nowymi materiałami. Zasiedla głównie tereny górzyste, docierając w Alpach do wysokości około 2300 m n.p.m., natomiast na terenach niżej położonych występuje lokalnie. Jest poławiany od maja do sierpnia, najczęściej w czerwcu i lipcu w lasach na borówce czarnej — Vaccinium myrtillus L. oraz na roślinach na wilgotnych łąkach w sąsiedztwie lasu.
