Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1991:
Gatunek zamieszkujący w północnej, zachodniej i środkowej części Europy, na południe docierający do środkowych Włoch, Jugosławii i przedgórzy Karpat Południowych. W Fennoskandii dochodzący do Laponii. W Polsce, aczkolwiek nie notowany jeszcze z wielu krain, występuje na całym obszarze prócz wyższych partii górskich. Żeruje na szczawiach, zwłaszcza na szczawiu polnym — Rumex acetosella L. i sz. zwyczajnym — R. acetosa L.
