Taxon description
Szelegiewicz 1968:
Europa, Zakaukazie, Bliski Wschód, Azja Środkowa, zachodnia Syberia, Ałtaj. Dane z Dalekiego Wschodu odnoszą się do innego gatunku — Megoura crassicauda Mordvilko, 1919.
Gatunek jednodomny i holocykliczny. Żyje na młodych pędach groszków — Lathyrus paluster L., Lathyrus pratensis L. i wyki — Vicia cracca L., Vicia sepium L., Vicia sativa L., Vicia angustifolia L. i Vicia faba L. Notowany jako wektor chorób wirusowych.
