Taxon description
Szelegiewicz 1968:
Europa, Zakaukazie, Bliski Wschód.
Gatunek holocykliczny i dwudomny. Migruje z gruszy — Pirus communis L. na różne gatunki traw. Na gruszy odwiedzany jest przez mrówki i powoduje zwijanie się liści.
