Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1981:

Gatunek o słabo poznanym rozmieszczeniu, gdyż na podstawie cech zewnętrznych trudny jest do odróżnienia od innych gatunków omawianego rodzaju (wyraźnie natomiast wyróżnia się specyficznym kształtem aparatu genitalnego). Z tego powodu niektóre dawne doniesienia o występowaniu w północnej i środkowej części Europy są wątpliwe; pewne stanowiska tego gatunku leżą we wschodniej Austrii (Horion 1967). W Polsce notowany na ogół z pojedynczych stanowisk w pięciu krainach, jedynie na Śląsku Dolnym znany z większej liczby miejscowości. Poławiany pod kamieniami, wśród mchów, w ściółce, darni, napływkach nad rzekami i jeziorami, a nawet w gniazdach mrówek Lasius fuliginosus (Latr.) i Formica pratensis Retz. Znaleziony też pod kamieniami wśród mrówek Diplorhoptrum fugax (Latr.).
