Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1992:
Gatunek znany głównie z południowej i środkowej części Europy, notowany ponadto z Kaukazu i Azji Mniejszej, Syberii i Mongolii. W Polsce wykazany dotychczas tylko z pięciu krain południowych. Spotykany przeważnie na suchych łąkach, słonecznych wzgórzach, w widnych lasach i zaroślach. Jako rośliny żywicielskie tego gatunku wymieniano w piśmiennictwie: traganek szerokolistny — Astragalus glycyphyllos L., traganek pęcherzykowaty — A. cicer L., traganek duński — A. danicus Retz., traganek długokwiatowy — A. onobrychis L. i traganek piaskowy — A. arenarius L. Larwa żeruje i odbywa rozwój w zalążniach.
