U nas różnodomny i holocykliczny. Migruje z róż — Rosa canina L., Rosa rubiginosa L., Rosa L. sp., na różne trawy — Agropyron repens (L.) P. B., Poa annua L., Zea mays L. Notowany jako wektor chorób wirusowych.
