Taxon description
Szelegiewicz 1968:
Europa, Ural, zachodnia Syberia, Zabajkale, Mongolia, Kamczatka. W Mongolii i na Syberii bardzo pospolity, w Europie sporadycznie.
Gatunek jednodomny i holocykliczny. Żyje na różnych pokrzywach, w Europie na pokrzywie żegawce — Urtica urens L. Żeruje głównie na spodniej stronie liści, rzadziej na łodydze i młodych pędach.
