Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1974:
Gatunek leśny zamieszkujący przede wszystkim wyżynne i górzyste krainy Europy Środkowej, rzadko i zwykle pojedynczo spotykany na obszarach niżowych. Możliwe, że na niżej położone stanowiska bywa znoszony z gór wodami popowodziowymi. W Polsce występuje głównie na południu kraju. Stanowiska na Nizinie Mazowieckiej wymagają potwierdzenia nowym materiałem, gdyż od przeszło 70 lat nie był znaleziony. Zasiedla zacienione i słabo nasłonecznione lasy, spotykany przeważnie pod kłodami, w pieńkach i pod kamieniami.
