Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1986a:

Szeroko rozprzestrzeniony gatunek północnopalearktyczny, w Europie docierający na północ do około 70° szer. geogr., a na południe do Francji, i północnych Włoch, Rumnnii i Ukraińskiej SRR. W Polsce szeroko rozpowszechniony (Ślipiński 1981), ale notowany dotychczas z nielicznych stanowisk rozproszonych w różnych częściach kraju. Znajdowany w mrowiskach Formica rufa L., F. polyctena Foerst., F. pratensis Retzius.
