Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1986a:

Gatunek rozsiedlony w południowej Europie oraz w południowo-zachodniej części Europy środkowej, notowany także z Maroka i Kaukazu. W Polsce z całą pewnością nie stwierdzony. Wykazany wprawdzie przed stu lub więcej laty z czterech krain prawdopodobnie na podstawie błędnego oznaczenia. Dane te nie zostały później potwierdzone i omawiany gatunek nie został uwzględniony w katalogu chrząszczy polskich (M. Łomnicki 1913). Wymagania ekologiczne i bionomia nie są znane.
