Taxon description
Gatunek rozsiedlony w południowej części Europy środkowej, Francji, północnych Włoszech, Chorwacji, Serbii, Siedmiogrodu oraz południowych obszarach europejskiej części ZSRR. W Polsce gatunek nadzwyczaj rzadki, znany dotychczas tylko z okolic Przemyśla. Bionomia tego gatunku nie jest dokładnie poznana. Chrząszcze poławiano na kwiatach baldaszkowatych, a we Francji wyhodowano z larw znalezionych w martwych gałęziach głogu.
