Taxon description
Gatunek holarktyczny, w Europie rozprzestrzeniony od Wysp Brytyjskich i północnej Fennoskandii przez środkową część kontynentu aż do Pirenejów, środkowych Włoch, Bośni i Hercegowiny. W Polsce znany z Mazur i nielicznych stanowisk w południowej części kraju. Występuje na terenach leśnych i wrzosowiskach pod płatami mchów, opadłym listowiem i gnijącymi gałęziami, w ściółce i w murszejących, przegrzybiałych pniach i pniakach.
