Taxon description
Szelegiewicz 1968:
Europa, Anatolia, Ameryka Północna. Podawany także z Azji Środkowej, lecz dane te odnoszą się do Myzaphis turanica Nevsky, 1929b.
Gatunek holocykliczny i jednodomny. Żyje na liściach róż — Rosa canina L. i innych Rosa L. sp., rzadziej na pięciorniku krzewiastym — Potentilla fruticosa L.
