Taxon description
Szelegiewicz 1968:
Szeroko rozmieszczony w Europie.
Gatunek holocykliczny i jednodomny. Monofag na ligustrze pospolitym — Ligustrum vulgare L. Wiosną żeruje w ciasno zwiniętych liściach, później na spodniej stronie niezdeformowanych liści. Notowany jako wektor chorób wirusowych.
