Taxon description

Szelegiewicz 1968:

Europa, z wyjątkiem Islandii i północnej części Wysp Brytyjskich, gdzie występuje podgatunek nominatywny.
Podgatunek holocykliczny i jednodomny. Żyje na różnych jastrzębcach — Hieracium murorum L., Hieracium Lanchenalii Gmel., Hieracium leavigatum Willd., Hieracium umbellatum L. i Hieracium sabaudum L. Wiosną żeruje na liściach, które pod wpływem żerowania mszyc zwijają się ku górze, później na ogonkach i koszyczkach kwiatowych.
