Gatunek szeroko rozprzestrzeniony w Fennoskandii, w Szwecji docierający do skrajnych prowincji północnych, notowany z Karelii, Danii, krajów Beneluksu i Niemiec. Z Polski notowany ogólnikowo; tymczasowo nie zalicza się omawianego gatunku do fauny krajowej, do czasu uzyskania konkretnych danych o jego występowaniu. Bionomia i wymagania ekologiczne nie są poznane; w Brandenburgii łowiono go na wydmach i w dolinach między wydmami, na roślinach zielnych, karłowatych krzakach oraz na wierzbie rokicie — Salix rosmarinifolia L.
